Meet Dr. Sonya J. Snedecor
Throughout her career as a mathematician Sonya J. Snedecor, PhD has seen her share of confusing scientific presentations that failed to convey insights or meaning. Too often, this leads to scientists who are underappreciated, solely because they struggle to communicate their work’s importance.

She has years of experience communicating complex information with clarity. As a veteran scientific consultant and team leader, she honed her scientific communication skills through training and presentations to hundreds of colleagues and clients.
Some of Sonya’s speaking topics include:
- Using the 3 As to achieve effective science communication: Audience, Aim, and Argument
